-Scott Aukerman reciting a fan-submitted catchphrase on Comedy Bang Bang ep. 203

donrickles:

A couple of years before IFC picked up Comedy Bang Bang they had Scott Aukerman make a bunch of Comedy Death Ray interstitials. You can watch them all on youtube. They’re glorious. They’re literally just one minute clips played during commercials but they’re all super funny. This clip with Zach Galifianakis has one of my all-time favorite jokes. He just builds punchline after punchline until he finally hits the one no one but him could have come up with.

Scott Aukerman: Zach, what were you like in high school? Tell me everything. Starting now.

Zach Galifianakis: I was captain of the football team. I was homecoming king. High school, I was around six foot four. I was a little thinner. I dated the foreign exchange student, from Frankfurt. His name was Muritz. We fell in love. That was kind of taboo back then. People were still nervous about Germany. That was basically my high school years.

Gracciamabel’! It’s the entire VIDEO episode of Scott Aukerman’s Comedy Bang! Bang! podcast, featuring Doug Benson, The Walking Dead’s Steve Yeun and “CAKE BOSS” (cakeboss)!

I can’t express how much I loved PFT in this episode. Party on Girth!

This was a damn good one. The joke is they’re all super-good ones.

We’re walking to, we’re walking to, we’re walking to work now.

Time to watch all of Comedy Bang! Bang! [IFC TV version] and tear up as each episode begins because it’s all too beautiful and then because it’s the funniest stuff I’ve ever seen.

I implore you watch United Stats of America and Comedy Bang! Bang! Both are quite funny and United Stats is awesomely informative. Comedy Bang Bag is just Scott Aukerman and Reggie Watts and tons of amazing and very funny guests being their funny selves. Go see them.
